I heard Buddha walked through Kashi on the way going to Sarnath from Gaya.

A sadhu told me...

At first the Lord lead me to a land of action......

there i performed variety of action ceaselessly.

Then to a land of sorrow He took me......

there i suffered unbearably.

Then the Lord lead me to a land of blazing......

there my whole ego burned away completely.

Then i was lead to a land of silence........

an eternal silence only existed.

Then suddenly i was in the heart of God........

there nothing else

but

only

laughter

only laughter of God

after the turmeric colour of hands are made

i look at my hands also all turned into turmeric colour

then i wonder

whose hands they are

whose hands are they?

mine?

Her's?

which belong to which?

are they the same?

People passing by ask what this gesture of hands mean....

offering...

renouncing....

longing....

could be

but

begging...

?
